As of 3/20/2020 no one is to enter our building except VMC employees. Everyone will have to call us from the parking lot when you arrive so we can assist you if you are here for an appointment, picking up your pet, or picking up prescription pet medication/food. Thank you.
If you are sick with COVID-19 (either suspected or confirmed) you should restrict contact with pets and other animals, just as you would around other people. While there have been no reports of pets or other animals becoming sick with COVID-19, it is still recommended that people with COVID-19 limit contact with animals until more information is known about this virus. When possible, have another member of your household care for your animals while you are sick. If you must care for your pet or be around animals while you are sick, wash your hands before and after you interact with them. Ensure that your pet is well-groomed and clean your pets food and water bowls, bedding material, and toys. For more info on your own health, contact a physician.
