Euthanasia
To lose a loyal, devoted friend is hard. Don’t underestimate the power of the human-animal bond, even after death.

After a discussion regarding your pets quality of life, euthanasia may be an option owners wish to pursue.
With euthanasia's, owners may opt to stay in the room with their pet during the process, or they may opt to leave prior to this service being provided. Our goal is to make this process as comfortable as possible for you and your pet. After euthanasia, owners have three different options to choose from for after-care; an individual private cremation, group communal cremation, or taking home for burial by the owner. With an individual private cremation, the individual pets ashes are returned to the owners. With a group communal cremation pets are cremated with other pets and ashes will not be returned to the owner. The VMC works with Allied Veterinary Cremation, based in Manheim, PA. They have provided an outstanding service for beloved pets throughout the years. Instead of cremation, owners may prefer to take their pets home for burial. Our staff will place the deceased pet into a biodegradable "angel bag" for owners to transport and bury at home. |
