Cleaning and Curbside Service
The VMC will be continuing existing cleaning procedures and focusing on frequently touched areas such as door knobs, counter tops, stethoscopes, computer screens/keyboards etc.
We will be taking clients immediately to exam rooms once entering the building. Doing this isolates client contact with other clients, VMC staff, and objects. Only 1-2 people per pet will be allowed in building during visit. If bringing more people than 2 people to the appointment, we request that everyone else please stay in their vehicle. Acupuncture appointments will only be scheduled as a drop off, or the owner must wait in the car until the appointment is over. Euthanasia appointments may have more than 2 people in the room, however our VMC staff will be wearing gloves, masks, and gowns for protection due to the amount of people in the room. In the future, we may be required to wear gloves, masks, and gowns in every appointment.
We are offering check out in exam rooms, curbside check in, and curbside check out for hospitalized pets and medicine/food pick up. Curbside check in requires a client to call when arriving in parking lot to let the VMC staff know they are here and when an exam room is open, we will come out and get you and your pet.
All food/medication orders must be done through our curbside service. Food and medicine must be prepaid over the phone. Call us from parking lot when arrive to pick up medication/food and for cash payments. We will meet you in the parking lot and exchange items. When picking up, call us from the parking lot and we will bring out your prepaid food/medications. At this time we are still accepting cash/checks for payment, however we do prefer credit/debit cards as payment.
