Dr Tammy Stone

Tammy Stone, VMD, MLAS

Received her Bachelor's degree in Biology and a minor in Psychology from Lebanon Valley College.  Earned a Master's degree in Laboratory Animal Science from Hahnemann University for small mammals like rabbits, ferrets, chinchillas, etc. Graduated from University of Pennsylvania Veterinary School in 1997.  She has owned VMC since 2003 and is the Chief Veterinarian.


Dogs, cats, ducks, pygmy goats, and miniature donkeys. Previously owned rabbits, fish, and chickens.

Dr Katharine Semmens

Katharine Semmens, DVM

Received her Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Richmond. Graduated from St. George's University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2012.  She spent her final year of veterinary school in clinical training at the University of Georgia and has been an associate veterinarian at VMC since graduation.


Dogs, tortoises, and assorted small mammals.

Juliane Evans, DVM

Juliane Evans, DVM - Certified Acupuncturist

Received her Bachelor's degree in Biology from Messiah College. Earned a Master's degree in Plant Pathology from Washington State University. Graduated from Oklahoma State University Center for Veterinary Health Sciences in 2015 and became an associate veterinarian for VMC that same year. She is also a certified acupuncturist from the Chi Institute in Florida as of May 2017.


Dogs and cats.  Previously owned fish, hamsters, budgerigars, guinea pigs, chickens, turtles and rabbits.


Buffy is one of our hospital cats.  He was a hit by car and needed to have a rear leg amputated. He currently lives upstairs and enjoys his warm bed in the lunch room where he can also sneak some treats.


Best friend to Holly


Holly is one of our hospital cats. She was hit by a car and had a lot of head trauma. She lost her right eye and needed to have her lower jaw repaired due to a fracture. She lives upstairs but will come downstairs to the waiting room to eat her treats and visit on occasion.

Amanda Bergman  Office Manager

Amanda, office manager

Amanda is our office manager, and one of the most familiar faces at the VMC.  She has been employed here since 1999.  She loves spending her free time with her family and her pets.  Her dream would be to some day open a bulldog rescue.

Erica has worked at the VMC since 2003, after graduating from Wilson College with a major in veterinary med technology and a minor in biology.  She loves spending time with her family, pets, and trying out new restaurants in her free time.

After graduation from the Vet Tech Institute and getting her certification three years ago, Cat started working at the VMC.  When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her boyfriend and their pets and being outdoors.

Gabi, CVT

Gabi recently graduated from YTI career institute and shortly after starting her job at the VMC, she passed her boards to become a certified veterinary technician. When she's not at work, this newly engaged girl is busy planning her wedding and spending time with her dogs.

Brooke, veterinary technician

Brooke recently graduated from the Vet Tech Institute in Pittsburgh.  She is our VMC crazy cat lady, and enjoys spending time at home with them when she is not at work.  



Laura, veterinary assistant

Laura has worked at the VMC since 2011.  Besides being a veterinary assistant, she is also in charge of the social media marketing for the practice.  When she is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her kids and dogs.

Janel is our city girl turned country girl.  Originally from Philly and working at multiple veterinary clinics in the past (one was even a feline exclusive clinic), her family decided to settle down in Lebanon County.  Now they have a small farm consisting of a dog, cats, chickens, and ducks.

Rachel graduated from Dauphin County Technical School with her veterinary assistant degree in 2019.  She is a sweet girl who is always eager to learn and who loves spending time with her pets at home.

Taylor recently graduated from high school and will be attending YTI for the veterinary technician program in January 2020.  She enjoys spending time with friends and family when she is not at the VMC.
